Education
Anne’s Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy was completed in 1979 at the University of Wisconsin—Madison.  In 1985, she graduated from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, with a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration.

Anne stresses the importance of continuing education for all In Touch Physical Therapy staff members.  During the last few years, she has attended national conferences on incontinence, weight training, strain/counter strain, shoulder taping and an Upledger Institute symposium.  At the American Physical Therapy Association’s 2003 Annual Meeting, Anne met with seven legislators in Washington, D.C. to discuss Medicare needs.  Anne’s studies have focused on keeping In Touch Physical Therapy the most progressive and in depth therapy office in the area.

Experience
Anne has more than 28 years of experience as a physical therapist.  She worked in the Metro area for ten years during which time she designed and opened two new clinics, and expanded Fridley’s Noran Neurological Clinic.  Anne moved to Owatonna in 1993 and worked at HealthReach in Albert Lea before beginning In Touch Physical Therapy in November, 1996.  Since this time, she has given numerous presentations in town on many different topics including low back rehab, repetitive injuries, and use of therapeutic balls and exercises.  If you feel your group needs a speaker to discuss health care, or physical therapy, please give Anne or her staff a call at 451-7888.

Interests
The joys of raising four children keep Anne and her husband, Phil, busy and involved with the community.  Anne has coached competitive swimming, volunteered as a room-parent numerous times, served on the PTA, and participated in a variety of recreational activities, including the 1998, 2000 and 2003 Owatonna Triathlons.  She is an active member in the Steele County Safety Council and the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
