KONNI RUMMEL
Physical Therapy Assistant

Education
In December, 2001, Konni graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Riverland Community College. She also received her certification as a physical therapy assistant from their accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.  She plans on becoming certified in Aquatic Therapy.

Experience
Konni has extensive experience and training focusing on manual therapy and myofascial release.  She enjoys working with patients experiencing neck, back, shoulder and knee injuries. Konni has taken extensive course work through the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute in Chicago, where she learned techniques involving balance training, athletic rehabilitation, aquatic lumbar stabilization, progressive orthopedic aquatics which she utilizes for her aquatic therapy patient’s.  Konni also enjoys enhancing patient treatments utilizing Pilates fitness techniques using stability balls and resistive exercise bands to provide an effective rehabilitation program for her patients.

Interests
Konni enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband and puppy. She enjoys outdoor activities and working out at her local YMCA. She has enjoyed adding her Pilates experience to her regular workout routine. She also likes fishing and going to movies.
